Doug Demko - Director of Operations
Our Director of Operations has the ultimate authority over all aspects of flight. Doug Demko began his career at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in aviation and becoming a Certified Flight Instructor prior to graduation. Doug continued his education at various locations with Flight Safety and Simuflite. Doug went on to become certified to fly as Part 135 Captain on Gulfstream and Cessna Citation jets. In addition to flying commercial jets Doug also flies formation in both the L39 and T28 military jets at air shows. Doug Co-Captained a sanctioned flight around the world where the world record in a commercial light jet was broken by over 20 hours. Doug continues to maintain his Certified Flight Instrument Instructor status. These credentials along with thousands of hours of flight time make Doug uniquely qualified to lead flight operations for 26 North Aviation.
Marlin Lamb - Chief Pilot
As the Chief Pilot, Marlin is qualified to fly all 26 North Aviation aircraft and is responsible for the training of new pilots. Marlin obtained his commercial pilot’s license at nineteen and has worked in aerial advertising and aerial photography. Marlin held the position of full-time flight instructor until early 2004 and has also served as a line captain for a national charter company flying the Gulfstream II and Sikorsky S-76.
James MacConnell - Director of Maintenance
James MacConnell has over 35 years of experience in aviation maintenance with both helicopter and fixed wing aircraft, and has worked as a chief inspector for passenger operation aircraft. As the Director of Maintenance, James is responsible for the day to day interaction with the FAA on maintenance issues. His extensive knowledge and previous experience with the FAA and aircraft maintenance are key components that will help 26 North achieve its development and growth objectives.
Rob Iverson - Vice President of Managed Aircraft
Rob Iverson has two decades of aviation experience, starting as a Lieutenant and pilot for the US Air Force where he flew missions in the Gulf War. He then took his Air Force experience to KIWI International Airlines before accepting a position in the management team of a start-up charter airline, Sky Trek International Airlines. He helped take the airline from business plan to actual operations. In 2000, Iverson left Sky Trek to start his own private air charter firm, Private Flight Group, LLC, where he served as President and General Manager. During this time, Iverson was also retained to help launch the Merrill Lynch financed startup company Pegasus Elite Aviation.
